Enhancing safety by stabilising friction level. 1) Automotive: It is without doubt that brake systems are among the most important safety components in passenger cars and commercial vehicles. They must be able to stop under any circumstance. For this reason, it is crucial to have a friction material which can function under extreme conditions. Ceramic fibers have been used in automotive friction materials (disc pads and linings) to improve comfort, safety and durability. Brake linings made from our fiber products have many notable features such as braking stably, high temperature properties, little abrasion, low (no)noise and long life. They are very popular in friction materials manufacturers. Mineral fibers can also be used for brake shoes and clutches. 2) Railway: With increasing concerns about comfort and noise, the global rail industry is shifting from cast iron blocks to composite friction materials. Our mineral fibers are widely used in these composites to enable friction materials (rail blocks and pads) to perform under extreme braking conditions. 3) Industrial applications: Industrial equipment, such as windmills and elevators are equipped with various braking systems for safe operation. Sealing materials PRODUCTS FEATURES Ceramic fibers are higher melting, heat and chemical resistant and in any case nonflammable. Wear mechanism of ceramic fibers is mainly abrasive and it’s different from other fibers due to the material brittleness. The use of ceramic as a structural material has always been limited by its susceptibility to brittle failure due to small cracks or flaws acting as stress concentrators. For friction materials the increase of friction coefficient with introduction of ceramic fibers is explained by fibers rupture during brake which produces small abrasive particles with a resulting abrasive action on disc metal surface. Hard fibers are also responsible on generation of primary contact plateau during wear. Environment-friendly, safe for people and environment, free of asbestos. Stable, good toughness, high temperature resistance, high strength, low shot content. Excellent dispersion and good combination with phenolic resin. Dust suppression, it can inhibit the fine dust in the mixture, improve the working environment and reduce the irritation to the skin. With a vitric like structure, good corrosion resistance, moisture resistance and wear resistance, has a good effect of structure reinforcement.
